Writing Samples | Contact Join E-mail List After internships with the Consulate-General of Ireland in Sydney and Fleishman-Hillard in Boston, studies of Irish politics at Boston College and comparative politics at University of California at Berkeley, and writing his thesis titled The Costs of Progress: Ireland's Economic Developments and Community Transformations Under the Framework of the European Union, Sean graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Arts degree summa cum laude with distinction in political science and a Bachelor of Science degree summa cum laude in communication. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Pi Sigma Alpha. Sean's opinion pieces and letters have been published in Fast Company, The Boston Globe, Boston Herald, Boston Business Journal, Boston Magazine, The Beacon Hill Times, The Daily Free Press at Boston University, The Tech at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, The Heights at Boston College, and several other publications. Upon graduation from Boston University, Sean set off to develop his first book and share the stories of his mother's childhood and its broader contexts. Though primarily in Ireland, Sean's research and writing carried him throughout Wales and England, as well as Arizona, California, Massachusetts, and New York. Sean currently lives in New York City and is manager of global communications and public affairs at Google. He is editing his writing in pursuit of publication.
